Welcome to Day 1 of your 30 Days of Qigong to Better Health! First, Chris gives a short introduction. This video takes you through a 20-minute practice, beginning with settling into the Wu Ji posture, which is the neutral stance from which the qigong exercises are executed. Then Chris leads you in the opening movement called Pulling Down the Heavens, followed by three powerful qi clearing exercises, before moving into the White Pearl Meditation. The White Pearl Meditation itself is focused on the kidneys, where your lifeforce energy is housed. It is a simple, yet powerful practice to rejuvenate and tone your kidney energy, promoting deeper sleep and enhancing energy levels while awake. This makes it a great practice to do either to start your day, to refresh in the middle of the day, or to prepare for a restful night’s sleep.
